The Channel Fireball Commander League runs every Tuesday and Thursday night at 7:30 PM and every Sunday at 1 PM. There’s no entry fee- just bring your Commander deck and sign up! Players who play in the Commander League will earn points each time they play, and at the end of each month, players with 25 points or more will qualify for a free tournament with prizes!
Players participating in the Commander League will be placed into pods of 3-5 players to play games. Each game will have a 90 minute time limit. When that time limit expires, the player whose turn it is will finish his or her turn. If the game is still not over, the game will end in a draw.
Players can earn (or lose!) points in the league by performing various actions in league games. Players in league games will be responsible for tracking points earned or lost on a points sheet provided to them by a Magic Judge. At the end of each game, the points sheet should be turned in to the judge so that points can be added to the overall tally for the month.
The Channel Fireball Commander League uses the official Commander banned list and rules from www.mtgcommander.net.
